Shaheena Safahari's Ill Rawazi Baten (Dancers of Belly)
Rawazi Baten is an up and coming new group of Egyptian/American Fusion Raqs Sharqi dancers from the Spokane area. Their name means 'The Dancers of the Belly'. The group was started by leader, Shaheena Safahri, and is comprised of her students of various levels. They have been fortunate to have performed together across Washington this year. Their performances consist of both traditional and fusion bellydance styles.
Goddess Arts Academy Northwest
